Hyper Aware is an awareness campaign for the Centre for ADHD Awareness, Canada. The name Hyper Aware works well because hyperfocus is an extreme form of focus that many people with ADHD experience, and images are black and white so that the focus is on the message.
This campaign aims to provide awareness, education and advocacy for ADHD across Canada. Negative connotations are broken down by stating facts about ADHD in bright colours in an eye-catching bold sans-serif font.
The main ad for this campaign would be a clear bus stop ad. It represents the racing and distracting thoughts that someone with ADHD may have. It is hard to look through the text and notice what is happening on the other side of the glass. This gives people an idea of the overwhelm someone with ADHD may experience.
